TELL US ABOUT YOUR BUSINESS & WHAT YOU OFFER: Deer Valley Lodge has a 5,000 sq ft banquet hall with an adjacent full-service private bar that can accommodate up to 400 people. With in-house event coordinators and an on-site chef, we tailor each event to the couple. In the kitchen, we use the freshest ingredients as well as prepare items from scratch. Step outside the banquet hall onto our 1,500 sq ft patio area and beautifully landscaped ceremony gazebo overlooking the Deer Valley Golf Course. In addition to the banquet hall, Deer Valley Lodge offers 2,500 sq ft of divisible event space to accommodate smaller events, including rehearsal dinners and gift openings. Deer Valley Lodge is a 62-room hotel with a 12,000 sq ft water park for wedding guests to stay overnight. Adjacent to the Deer Valley Lodge, you will find Deer Valley Golf Course offering 27 holes of golf, an 18 hole FootGolf course, and a driving range with special rates for all hotel guests.

TELL US ABOUT YOUR JOURNEY STARTING YOUR BUSINESS AND THE STORY BEHIND THE NAME: In 1996, construction began on 384 acres of beautiful, southern Wisconsin farm and prairie land. The goal was to create a quality, 18-hole golf facility that would provide golfers with a unique golf experience by blending a challenging layout with breathtaking views unmatched in Southwest Wisconsin. During the project, a keen eye was kept on preserving not only the numerous natural resources but, on maintaining the integrity of the original lay of the land. Deer Valley boasts some of Wisconsin's purest, natural prairies, not to mention deer, wild turkeys, coyotes, red-tailed hawks, and numerous other species.
In 1999, Deer Valley opened for play. The blend of links-style golf, rolling terrain, and the exciting elevation changes gave golfers a chance to use every club and shot in their bag. With fantastic support from the community, the Deer Valley Lodge opened for business in July of 2006. Featuring 62 hotel rooms, including 13 suites, the largest indoor water park in the greater Madison area, 2,500 sq ft of meeting room space, an executive board room, and a beautiful 5,000 sq ft banquet hall with seating for 400 overlooking the golf course, Deer Valley Lodge and Golf has become a four-season destination!
As interest in Deer Valley Lodge increased, so did the demand for golf. The Valley Course opened for play in August of 2009 and brought our total to 27 holes. The Valley Course was met with great excitement by many of our regular players. Deer Valley now has three courses to choose from: The Ridge, The Prairie, and The Valley!

Couples love the location as Deer Valley Banquet Hall overlooks the beautiful Deer Valley Golf Course and is away from the "hustle and bustle" of the big city. The country-setting offers panoramic views of the Driftless Region of beautiful Southern Wisconsin. The 5,000 sq ft banquet hall is elegantly appointed with a patio overlooking the Golf Course and includes everything needed to host a wedding reception. Deer Valley Lodge offers couples the opportunity to customize every part of their special day with a wide variety of services, decorating packages, and rental items. We have in-house event coordinators who help them through the planning process from start to finish and are on-site for their big day to make sure everything goes as planned. With a full-time chef on-site, we make all meals from scratch using the freshest ingredients and can adapt our menu to meet the individual preferences of our couples!

There is so much for your guests to do as well. Families can fit in a round of golf or footgolf, swim in the water park, visit the many local attractions such as Cave of the Mounds, Blue Mounds State Park, or go shop in historic Mt Horeb! Deer Valley is fun for the whole family!
