From the very beginning, Isaac and Marissa had an undeniable spark, and as the years went on, Marissa's realization that Isaac was the one slowly grew as Isaac continually showed up for her as a loving and devoted partner. One beautiful wintery day, Isaac took Marissa on a frosty romantic walk to a beautiful gazebo, where he asked her to be his bride. According to Marissa, it was incredibly obvious that he would propose because he wore a dress shirt for their causal walk, but that didn't make the moment any less special!
While planning for their vibrant and elegant Wisconsin wedding, the couple, along with Cherry Blossom Events, established some goals. They wanted a Madison wedding on the water that would accommodate their many family members, and The Edgewater Hotel on Lake Mendota was the perfect location! Captured by Thrive Photography & Films, Isaac and Marissa's big day was filled with gorgeous deep greens and vibrant pink and purple jewel tones. These two included many personal details into their celebration such as showcasing their passion for reading through their centerpieces stacked with books, and displaying wedding photos of their grandparents, parents, and siblings at the reception to honor all the amazing examples of love and marriage they've been able to witness in their families. Another unique aspect of the beautiful day was the Doodle Booth! During their reception, an artist drew doodles of any guests that were interested, and the couple had a blast trying to guess who was in which doodle after their wedding day.
