We may be slightly biased, but we’re pretty confident there’s nowhere better to enjoy the sweet sunny days of summer than here in our vibrant city of Madison, Wisconsin. As for Becca and Mitch, their ideal summer day is one spent out on the beautiful lakes that flank our city, which is precisely where their love story began on Memorial Day weekend in 2018 when she got invited onto Mitch’s boat.
Becca and Mitch celebrated their love on a warm August day filled with iconic local stops and stunning views of the city they love so dearly. After sharing a first look under the Red Gym, the two took a ride in style on a vintage Chris-Craft at Memorial Union Terrace back where it all began.
Monona Terrace offered picturesque views of the Capitol where their dog, Gus, walked Mitch down the aisle and the couple said, “I do” surrounded by loved ones and dreamy floral pillars from Sunborn Gardens. After some drinks and a few rounds of cornhole with their custom boards that featured the same monogram and skyline that Lettered by Shi crafted for their gorgeous invitation suite, it was off to The Madison Club! Signature drinks, with Gus-themed stir sticks, and interactive activities like a custom crossword puzzle and Jenga game entertained guests while the couple switched up their style for the reception.
Before their big entrance as the new Mr. and Mrs., Becca took off her overskirt from the day and changed into a stylish updo while Mitch rocked a sparkly blue jacket. After an impressive first dance, dinner, cake, and portraits at the Capitol, Becca and Mitch danced the night away to the tunes of a live band that kept the energy flowing all night! We can’t wait for you to explore all the details that their timeless, personalized, and FUN celebration brought down below.
