About Us
The Bur Oak is an independently run event venue in the heart of the Atwood neighborhood. The 100-year-old building was lovingly restored to accentuate its period details. The newly finished basement includes a bridal suite and provides additional space for dinner or cocktail setups creating a unique two-space wedding reception and service under one roof. The venue is equipped with state-of-the-art sound and lights in the main hall for those that want to bring in a live band or DJ. Create your lasting memories at The Bur Oak.
We couldn’t have asked for a more perfect venue for our wedding and reception than The Bur Oak! Its spacious yet intimate setting, combined with its prime location and affordability, made it an ideal choice. The cozy atmosphere required minimal decoration, allowing us to focus on what truly mattered.
