Desserts are becoming so much more creative, artistic, and elaborate, and we aim to help our client's sweet visions come true! Beautifully tiered cakes can vary from the classics to colorful works of art that help tie all of the design elements together. On our dessert tables, we can include treats like cheesecake and cupcakes to donuts, pies, cookies, and even tarts to feature our couples' favorite sweets. We truly love working with each wedding couple to create a new dessert story!
TELL US ABOUT YOUR JOURNEY STARTING YOUR BUSINESS AND THE STORY BEHIND THE NAME: We, Stephanie and Keegan, started our business a little over 5 years ago with a desire to create delicious desserts for people. We wanted to do a little bit of everything, but quickly realized how much we enjoyed customizing our flavors and how much fun being a part of weddings was! Our name is inspired by the 1871 novel "Through the Looking-Glass," and "What Alice Found There," the sequel from Alice in Wonderland. There's a beautiful scene in Chapter 7 with a unicorn, lion, and a cake, and we love the whimsical inspiration that we draw from reading the book and creating desserts fit for a tea party.
WHAT SETS YOU APART FROM OTHER VENDORS IN YOUR INDUSTRY? Being a small team, we believe that it gives us an advantage by allowing us to focus and give more of our attention to each of our clients. Along with focusing on our clients, we are continually learning about new technics, following the latest trends, and teaching ourselves everything we can about cake decorating and flavors!
WHAT DO YOU LOVE MOST ABOUT WORKING IN THE LOVE INDUSTRY? We love that we get to create something new with every wedding and that no two weddings are the same. Between the latest trends and the classics, we love taking these ideas and putting a spin on them to make them special and individualized for each of our clients. The final step in our process is delivery, and we love being able to set everything up and see how the cake and desserts help every wedding come together just right!
