Today we're sharing beautiful images by the talented Abbots Lane of this vintage romantic barn celebration, held at Sugarland Barn in the Wisconsin countryside of Arena. Using peonies, roses and greenery, the floral design was exquisitely lush with blush, peach and lavender tones. Alisha and Derek used minimal decor so the natural beauty of the restored rustic barn could shine through.

HOW DID YOU MEET???We met at a mutual friend's wedding.?
HOW DID YOU KNOW HE WAS "THE ONE?" I think throughout the years of knowing each other I knew he was gonna be somebody that was gonna play a big role in my life. ?I think the more time we spent together, I just knew that I want to spend the rest of my life with that person.?
TELL US ABOUT YOUR PROPOSAL:? We took a family vacation with his side of the family to Vegas. He said he didn't know when or how he was going get down on one knee so he carried that ring in his pocket for about 12 hrs just waiting to surprise me but I think the way he did it was special. We went out to dinner that night with his family and we ended up at the Bellagio fountain and right after the fountain started going down and the faint sound of Frank Sinatra started fading out,?we decided to have his sister take our photo. That's when he got down on one knee and asked me. I was speechless!?

WHAT WAS YOUR WEDDING COLOR PALETTE? Each bridesmaid had a different shade that offset the lush greenery around our venue.
WERE THERE ANY PERSONAL TOUCHES OR DIY ELEMENTS? ?A lot of the books, cigar boxes, and blue mason jars were all thrifted throughout Southwest Wisconsin. My best friend and maid of honor spent a couple Saturdays traveling and shopping! We made a lot of great memories!?
DID YOU USE ANY SPECIALTY CHAIRS, LINENS, DINNERWARE OR GLASSWARE?? We used a miss match of vintage dinnerware with white tablecloths and some of our cocktail tables had lace linens.?
Alisha says, "Each guest had a key/bottle opener with their name and table number. On top of the tables were cards with our hashtag and how to send them to social media?"
