The Bride’s Secretary created a custom stationery suite inspired by palm trees, set within a rich, tropical color palette. The rectangular pieces varied in size and shape, in shades of peach, pink, mango, and green. A handwritten, modern script font paired with an elegant serif across the printed pieces, which included an invitation, save-the-date, details card, welcome sign, coaster, menu, and ceremony program that doubled as a fan for guests.

Located in the Wisconsin Dells, Chula Vista Resort offers many beautiful settings, indoors and out, for couples seeking a wedding vacation getaway right here in Wisconsin. As the name suggests, the Chapel on the Green is a modern outdoor design that offers breathtaking views of Coldwater Canyon Golf Course, making it the perfect choice for a tropical setup.
Rentals from Event Essentials and florals from B-Style Floral helped set every scene, from the lounges to the ceremony backdrop, tablescape, and dessert table. Blooms included birds of paradise, lilies, anthuriums, orchids, carnations, gladiolus, snapdragons, and pincushion proteas. Plentiful greenery framed the bold palette, with textures from aspidistra leaves, palms, monstera, umbrella palm, Italian ruscus, and xanadu leaves.

Flowers and greenery lined the ceremony aisle, set beneath an oversized wreath suspended from the open-air arches. The couple wore fashions from Brides N’ Belles, further accessorized by B-Style Floral.

The bride’s long-sleeve gown was a blend of classic and modern, featuring simple, luxurious fabric, minimal details, and a keyhole tie front. The open-back design was perfect for floral and beaded draping reminiscent of a lei. Beta Blue Beauty provided hair and makeup artistry, styling the bride’s hair into a voluminous, braided bun and side-swept bangs. Her makeup accentuated her healthy tan, with soft, arched brows, striking cheekbones, and glowy highlighter.
She carried a fresh, medium-sized bouquet with a variety of warm-hued florals nestled within greenery and palm leaves.

The groom wore a tan suit, with a white undershirt and brown dress shoes. He was accessorized with an orange satin pocket square and tie, as well as an asymmetrical neckpiece composed of florals, wooden beads, and puka shells to keep in line with the tropical theme.

Two serpentine tables mirrored each other at the reception setup, with tablecloths arranged in an ombré pattern from bold orange to tan. A large, tropical centerpiece decorated the space between them, with more greenery and florals spilling onto either side. The setup was shaded by large umbrellas, featuring whimsically strung blooms.
Florals in vases and fruits, such as papayas, lemons, grapefruits, pineapples, limes, and more, served as décor on the tablescape. The design also included tan and green striped linens, woven chargers, white plates, colored crystal glassware, silver and gold silverware, and candles.

Fruit tarts, desserts, and a three-tiered cake from Sandy Kakes adorned the dessert table, further decorated with additional fruits, florals, wicker baskets, plus wooden and glass trays. More décor surrounded the table, sat atop a woven rug, including potted plants, wooden pedestals, with flowers and greenery underneath.
The bottom layer of the cake was artistically painted with sweeping colors of red, orange, and pink, and completed with edible gold foil pieces. The middle and top layers were decorated with structured textures and a monochromatic palm leaf, respectively.

Blu Photography & Design captured the day with an artful balance of light and shadow, working in both sun and shade to highlight every vivid detail. The result was a stunning gallery that showcased every bright pop of color alongside aspirational, romantic portraits.
