Effortlessly romantic and filled with beautiful moody shots from Karly Jo Photography, there's something about a backroad and a truck in Wisconsin that makes us feel right at home. Karly says, "Adrian & Hannah have the best love story… it is rather like The Notebook and this is where I drew my inspiration during the evening while still making it unique to them. They were high school sweethearts and then went their separate ways for a bit. They met up randomly one night while Adrian was on leave for a week and picked up right where they left off. They were inseparable for the rest of the weekend. While he was away in the Marines, they texted constantly and missed each other terribly and knew this was it. Adrian is active duty military so his time home is few and far between. But this gorgeous couple couldn’t wait to make things official and eloped earlier this year. How romantic! I’ve photographed a surprise engagement session and can’t wait to photograph an elopement but this session was pretty amazing to be a part of for sure."
"Adrian was home for only 10 days when we had this chance to take some photos. Hannah mentioned this amazing & haunted road just outside of our town. Adrian brought his new, to him, truck and we chased light together for a few hours. Once the sun set, this beautiful couple shared a first dance as husband and wife to some Ed Sheeran in the light of the headlights. It was so romantic, so perfect… so them," explains Karly.
