A beautiful Wisconsin snowy background with a natural spring on their family’s land is the setting for today’s e-sesh. And these two are the cutest. Brooke and Brad took a sleigh ride among rolling hills and golden light in Reedsburg, all captured by LK Bridal Studio in these pretty wintery images below.
HOW DID YOU MEET??Brad and I met at work. We work at Carr Valley Cheese.
TELL US ABOUT THE PROPOSAL:?The proposal was very unexpected. I came home from my exercise class, and to my surprise Brad had dinner made. After dinner, Brad came out from the kitchen and got down on one knee and asked me to marry him.
WHERE DID YOU SHOOT YOUR ENGAGEMENT PHOTOS??The photo shoot took place on Brad’s great-grandparent’s land. It’s located just outside of Reedsburg. The land is very special to the family. In the background of a few photos, you can see ice has formed over a natural spring on the property. Brad’s family has photos showing family members by the spring through each generation.?
ANY SPECIAL DETAILS YOU INCORPORATED INTO YOUR ENGAGEMENT SESSION??Beyond choos
ing the family land, we thought it would be pretty to have a winter setting for our engagement pictures. One special detail was the picture of us sledding on the toboggan.
WHEN/WHERE IS YOUR WEDDING??Our wedding will be August 25th, 2018. Our ceremony will be at the Avalon Ballroom, above LK Design Studio. Our reception will be at the Ridge Barn located in La Valle, Wi. The barn has been cleaned up and decorated very nicely for weddings. ?
WHAT OTHER WEDDING DETAILS DO YOU HAVE PLANNED SO FAR? The colors are forest green and plum purple.
