Inspired by the delicate allure of these flowers, the enchanting and historic Ludlow Mansion Events in Monroe, Wisconsin, became the canvas for a lavish garden party wedding design brimming with elegance. Orange Door Weddings composed this blue delphinium-inspired affair with intentionality and expertise as each detail came together to create a swoon-worthy celebration of chivalry and romance.

Lettered by Shi created stationery pieces that felt both delicate and upscale. The creamy white invitation suit was embellished with dusty blue, vintage-inspired floral patterns, and little pops of pearls. Supporting pieces, including unique menu placecards, table numbers, and drink escort tags, continued the soothing and elegant tone throughout the celebration.
When designing a stunning grounded floral ceremony nest, daffodil*parker drew inspiration from a whimsical watercolor painting by their owner, Erin Daffodil. Delphiniums of various blue hues were combined with local globe thistle, blue-dyed tulips, and other ethereal elements to create a romantic garden-inspired look. After the ceremony, the stunning ceremony nest was disassembled and moved throughout the festivities for additional decor!
The bouquets favored a minimalist look, with a structured bridal bouquet and monofloral posies for the bride’s wedding party. daffodil*parker elevated the reception tablescape by featuring local vining greenery on ornate candelabras and simple bud vases to complement the bold linens. Their artful arrangements of blooms brought this charming garden party wedding design to life!

Our bride was stunning in a classy, statement-making A-line gown from Vera’s House of Bridals. The dress featured a plunging neckline, mesh side slits, and a deep low back tied with a beautiful bow. Men’s Wearhouse outfitted our groom with a heathered light blue suit, brown leather shoes, and the perfect blue floral-patterned tie to complement the day’s theme. The bridesmaids were dressed in summery, mismatched blue floral-patterned dresses and accessorized with parasols to shade the glowing sun.
ANiU Salon & Spa worked with our bride and each of her bridesmaids to craft hair and makeup looks that were clean, bright, and simple – perfect for a charming garden party celebration out on a mansion lawn!
Intricately patterned blue and white floral linens from BBJ La Tavola were the foundation for this show-stopping reception table design. From seating to glassware, display pieces, candles, and beyond, rental items from Event Essentials and Velvet Rentals enhanced every corner of this special day.
The cocktail hour started when “Daisy” from The Bitsy Bar rolled up to the festivities! This vintage Piaggio Ape beverage truck, able to dispense up to four different beverages on tap, was the perfect refreshing addition to this stylish outdoor celebration.
A blue velvet Cinderella sofa from Velvet Rentals and a Versailles Chair from Event Essentials set the scene for this elegant, inviting outdoor lounge space perfect for mingling with friends and toasting to the new nuptials!
Creative Confections by Alicia Russell skillfully crafted an enchanting 3-tiered cake featuring hand-painted pale blue flowers, subtle leaf texture, and carefully beaded frosting. This delicious masterpiece was a delicate focal point for the reception!
Hiring a live wedding artist adds to the interactive experience of your special day and creates a beautiful memento to take home and look back on. Cayla the Painter painted the bride and groom walking hand-in-hand on Ludlow Mansion’s manicured lawn surrounded by delicate blue delphinium flowers – a beautiful representation of their day! Cayla the Painter also added eye-catching flair to various wine bottles, painting them with elegant blue and white florals to match the bridesmaids’ patterned dresses. These bottles were placed throughout the decor, creating a subtle but beautiful touch of personality.
