The vision for this downtown Milwaukee affair? Classic, timeless and minimal. With an all-white wedding palette and hints of silver, candles and lush blooms were all that was needed for a venue as beautiful as the Black Swan along the beautiful riverfront in the Historic Third Ward. The bride's long sleeve lace gown with a slim fitted skirt is as stylish now as it will be 50 years from now. Sneak a peek below of this beautiful gallery from East Elm Photography.
WEDDING DATE: 06/17/17
HOW DID YOU MEET? We met through a mutual friend in college. My friend threw me a birthday party and invited Robby. That was the first time we really spent time together and started to get to know each other!
HOW DID YOU KNOW HE WAS "THE ONE?" We just clicked right away. We never really had a discussion about if we were dating or official. It just kind of happened! It was just easy, natural and felt right!
TELL US ABOUT YOUR PROPOSAL: Robby proposed at a park on the lake in downtown Milwaukee and had my good friend who introduced us, hiding taking pictures as well as our family and friends waiting at a restaurant to surprise me. (He didn't tell anyone he was proposing either, so everyone was surprised!) it was so fun to get to celebrate with everyone after!
TELL US ABOUT YOUR DRESS: It was a long sleeve Tara Keely gown that I saw online and knew it was exactly what I wanted! The top had a floral pattern with a deep V-cut front and buttons all down the back. The bottom was a simple tight fitting skirt.
DESCRIBE YOUR WEDDING FLOWERS: All white everything! Robby's aunt did them for us and I just said any white flower. She took it from there and it was beautiful!
WHAT WAS YOUR FAVORITE MOMENT FROM YOUR WEDDING? How do I pick!? I think our favorite part was just being able to celebrate, dance and have a good time surrounded by those closest to us.
WHAT WAS YOUR WEDDING COLOR PALETTE?: I wanted all white flowers, hints of silver in the chairs and some of the centerpieces that went with the style of the venue.
