Our Wedding Trends Unveiled Show is tomorrow at The Madison Club! If you're getting married, wedding events are a great way to plan your wedding and have some fun. Here are our top tips on how to make the most of your experience and keep the information (and inspiration) from overwhelming.

1. Have an idea of your wedding date and estimated guest numbers.

These are often the first questions vendors ask to make sure they're available and can support your wedding. It also helps them tailor their package and pricing information to fit your needs.

2. Create a dedicated wedding email address to keep your inbox organized.

Making a wedding email address makes it much easier to keep track of supplier information, prize winner announcements, and special offers after the show.

3. Take the time to chat with vendors during the show.

It is important to choose vendors who are not only great at what they do but also great to work with! Having a conversation with them is the best way to find people you click with and get an idea of what they offer.

4. Make notes of your favorite vendors and inspiration.

Take photos of displays that catch your eye (with the vendor's permission), save the handouts of vendors who are a good fit, and jot down notes as you go. It can be tricky to remember the finer details after the event, so these will help jog your memory.

5. Don't feel pressured to commit to anything right away.

If you need some time to review different options and come back to suppliers with any questions you might not think of on the day of the show, it is entirely okay.

6. Sort through the information as soon as possible after the event.

The earlier you confer with your partner, the better! Talk about which suppliers stood out most, check out their work online and decide who you'd like to follow up with. Remember to check items off your wedding planning checklist as you go!
