LK Bridal Studio introduced the styled shoot with a colorful, contour-cut invitation and details card. They softened the contrasting pink and green palette with soft hues, cool greens, and a modern storybook font. The invitation also featured a floral pattern frame motif, which was carried into other elements for the day, including the seating chart, signature drink signs, menus, and more. Other design elements included vinyl bottle labels, laser-cut stir sticks, bubble-inspired name cards, and a layered, contour-cut welcome sign.

Located in Janesville, 10 South has a variety of indoor and outdoor spaces that can easily transform for any color scheme or theme. This styled shoot fit in perfectly in the Main Hall, with warm brick backdrops, wooden floors, and overhead chandeliers. The Main Hall is also equipped with a beautiful bar for delicious, custom, in-house drinks.

Through lush floral arrangements, backdrops, installations, and rentals, Melody Rose Designs & Melody Rose Decor & Rental elevated every scene in this wedding design. Beginning at the ceremony, the aisle was set into a subtle serpentine shape, guided by pink blooms on either side. The backdrop was similarly whimsical, with a unique broken arch setup with both pieces facing the same direction.

Bon Bon Belle provided model Grace’s dramatic, non-traditional black gown for moody, Elphaba vibes. Also strapless, this stunning gown had a deep-v neckline, a ruched bodice, and an embroidered and beaded tulle overlay skirt. She was accessorized with luxe black gloves, an emerald ring, and statement earrings. Later, a pointed hat and quirky round eyeglasses were added for a few photos as a playful nod to the witchy aesthetic.

Model Julia wore a soft, subtle blush gown, also from Bon Bon Belle, featuring a sweetheart neckline, oversized bow detailing, and voluminous skirt. The strapless, A-line gown ruched at the waist, accentuating the figure while making a glamorous statement worthy of the Good Witch. Accessories included a shimmering crystal crown, an oversized diamond ring, and pearl earrings.

Melissa Ann Artistry + Co. styled each of the brides with bold, colorful eyeshadows matching the color scheme of their inspirational characters. Julia had pearly pink eyeshadow, cat-eye eyeliner, and a soft lip. Her hair was styled to accentuate her natural texture and softly frame her face. Grace wore a green lid with a smoky crease, black cat-eye eyeliner, and a peach lip. Her hair was styled into a loose, braided updo.

Blending posed portraits with candid moments, The Wedding Flashers documented every styled detail across 10 South’s unique spaces. They masterfully handled playful challenges like a bubble machine drifting whimsical foregrounds into frame, artistically capturing the warmth of the historic ballroom and the glow of its chandeliers and natural light. The resulting gallery was bright, airy, ethereal, and full of joy.

Wavy details continued at the tablescape, featuring more pieces from Melody Rose Decor & Rental. Round tables, draped with ruffled pink tablecloths, were artfully placed together and covered by an oversized floral table runner. Details included a pink glass charger, blush plates, green and pink glassware, candles, and a green bow.

Cowboy David’s Bakery embraced the theme with three towering cakes: one designed for Elphaba, one for Glinda, and the third a sculptural, sweet representation of Emerald City. The desserts were presented on a grand display surrounded by twinkling chandeliers and large floral installations.

The Elphaba cake combined texture with pops of color, utilizing unique materials like black lace carefully placed around the top two tiers, then secured with draping fabric and topped with dark, sculptural florals.

As the name suggests, the Emerald City cake was a masterpiece of green, with pops of gold to artfully represent arched windows and doors. Set atop a green base and soaring acrylic pedestal, this three-tiered cake was completed with asymmetrical pink florals.

Finally, the Glinda cake also utilized a multi-tier design with a variety of textures and materials. This vision in pink included whimsical elements like ethereal, iridescent pink fabric, a flower tier, and a clear acrylic bubble layer displaying even more blooms. The piece was topped with a two-tiered pink cake with pearl accents and a large floral topper.

Lily’s Magical Treats styled her cotton-candy cart for the occasion, bringing an assortment of green and pink lollipops and colored sugar for fresh, fluffy treats and drink garnishes.
