Silvia & Diego met through the International Student Association at UW-Whitewater where Silvia came to study as an exchange student from Monterrey, Mexico. She knew Diego was the one when he asked her to stay in Wisconsin and not leave to go back to Mexico. He proposed to her soon after over a very romantic dinner.
Silvia & Diego tried to carry through many traditions from their home country throughout their wedding. They had a traditional Catholic ceremony from Mexico with Monsignior Hector Luis Morales who traveled all the way here from Mexico to marry them.
A very glitz and glam reception was held at the Overture Center with beautiful uplighting, high and low white floral centerpieces with gold accents including gold chivari chairs and a little sparkle on their sweetheart table with a sequin table linen.
