This wedding is the perfect example of how burgundy, blush and deep reds can transcend the seasons. It can layer a whimsy summer wedding with romance or warm up a fall or winter wedding with its moody and vibrant tones. See all the beauty right here from Larissa Marie Photography!

WEDDING DATE:  03/18/17

HOW DID YOU MEET?  Through mutual friends.

HOW DID YOU KNOW HE WAS "THE ONE?" We had been together for 10 years before we got engaged. We had been through so much together and somewhere in the middle of it all, I knew he was the one I wanted to spend the rest of my life with.

TELL US ABOUT YOUR PROPOSAL: Anyone who knows me knows how much I love Christmas and the holiday season. We were hosting our first Christmas in our new home with family. After all the gifts were opened, he went and grabbed one last gift for me. Inside the box was the ring and he proposed.

DESCRIBE YOUR WEDDING FLOWERS: Lush bouquets and centerpieces filled with romantic blooms, (roses, peonies, and more) with hints of dark greenery and gold accents. Our florist, (Erin from Daffodil Parker) really hit it out of the ballpark. She brought all of my ideas to life and made our wedding look so beautiful and magical.

TELL US ABOUT YOUR DRESS: An Allure ballgown in satin and English net. The strapless bodice featured a sweetheart neckline, delicate boning and crystals.

WERE THERE ANY PERSONAL TOUCHES OR DIY ELEMENTS? We chose to make a donation to the rescue organization that we adopted our dog from in lieu of traditional wedding favors. I made all of the table numbers, signs and gold leafed a lot of the candle votives and vases. I also made the wax seal name place cards.

WHAT WAS YOUR FAVORITE MOMENT FROM YOUR WEDDING? This is hard for me to choose but I think saying our vows to each other was my favorite moment. There is so much that goes into a wedding but at the end of the day, this is what it is all about.
